Part of the Solution. - This was such an amazing editorial piece to be a part of. Whitney Austin was a victim in the Fifth Third Center mass shooting here in Cincinnati last year and was shot 12 times. Officer Staples rescued her from the scene. It was awesome to see the bond they have formed after the incident and to capture them together. *Gear Update: I have been getting a lot of messages asking how I like the EOS R after some use so here are my two cents. In short, I really like it. It has become my go to camera for a lot of shoots. I absolutely love how good the auto focus is on it ( way better than my 5ds ) and being able to use the face/eye detection through the evf has changed the way I am able to frame portraits. As far as the files they seem pretty similar to the 5d iv with maybe a touch better high iso noise performance so nothing ground breaking there. I turned off the touch bar as soon as I got it so I have no option on that other than I don’t see myself ever using it. I thought I would miss the joystick but for me using the back touch screen to change the focus points has been just as easy and possibly even faster. The ef lens adapter works flawlessly, I have had almost no missed focus shots of any kind. I am just waiting for canon to release another ( hopefully higher end - 100mp? ) body before I invest in rf mount lenses but that 28-70 and 50 look incredible. My one gripe is that so far the performance with capture one 12 has been painfully slow but this should get sorted out with an update from them. - As we all know new gear won’t make you a better artist but it is nice when it makes things a little easier. This has been my first experience with mirrorless but so far I can see why people love it 🤘 #jeremykramerphoto #canoneosr
